File Preparation:
For best results follow these steps:

Open template in Photoshop or Illustrator to begin the layout
-
Lay graphic artwork out based on template size and set at no more than 150 dpi
-
Flatten artwork by clicking on "Layers" and clicking "Flatten Image" in Photoshop
-
Save as a jpeg, pdf, or tiff file
-

note:
JPEG, PDF, and Tiff files work extremely well with large format printing. Not only do they produce high quality graphics, but they are “flattened” files which is important so that fonts, objects, and other aspects of the graphic are not lost when we open them in our software. Sometimes different versions of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and others do not translate between your program and ours. To prevent this, saving your artwork as a jpeg, pdf, or tiff ensures the files remain unchanged. As a secondary safe guard, after receiving the files we send a low res proof to your email to double check and make sure there were no problems.
Graphic Design or Layout Help:
While we are able to accept Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design files, we encourage the above file output when sending us files. If you are in need of Graphic Design or Layout work we will require the “raw” files in Illustrator or Photoshop. This service generally has a professional service fee. Here are a few things to consider when we assist with graphic design and layout:
-
The desirable artwork to send is generally high-resolution or “vectored”. These two types of files allow us to enlarge the graphic and still remain good quality.
-
Logos, pictures, and other files on your website usually will not work since they are not vectored and are generally low resolution.
-
We prefer the original artwork or photographs since they are the highest resolution.
-
If you have a show coming up it is important that we get started on the graphic design/layout
